"We have chosen to use Matta surfacing on all the projects we have done in the past 4 years. We find the product itself to be of the highest quality and it is more reliable than the poured-in-place materials the school district used to spec out. We find the surface to be very forgiving. It retains its softness but it is impossible to wear out, even in the most heavily used locations such as under swing seats. The material and the installation is water-permeable. We never find ponding even after a direct rain. There is no weed growth through the barrier and the tiles remain intact and hold their shape. We have no issues with the holes in the surfacing and we find no debris collecting or inhibiting the effectiveness of the product.
